Terms of Service

Agreement and service

These terms govern use of Startwave, operated by Startwave Technology Inc. By using the service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you may bind that business and authorize its activities. The service helps users manage outbound campaigns, connected mailboxes, contacts, replies and usage. Contact joe@startwave.io for support or questions.

Your responsibilities

Keep credentials secure, grant only necessary access and provide accurate sender and business information. You are responsible for your contact sources, message content, processing instructions and lawful authority to contact recipients. Do not use the service for phishing, fraud, impersonation, unlawful harassment, credential theft or attempts to bypass provider restrictions. Honor opt-outs and other applicable requirements. Access to a feature does not establish that your proposed use is lawful or allowed by a mailbox provider.

Campaign authorization and limits

Starting or changing a campaign authorizes the reviewed operation and its displayed terms. Capacity, verification and sending are separate operations. Available inventory, funding, verification, suppression, mailbox health and transport conditions can prevent or delay execution. Capacity is not a guarantee of delivery, inbox placement, replies or sales. Unknown provider outcomes may require reconciliation and must not be treated as permission to resend or repeat a paid operation.

Beta pricing and payments

The current beta uses Stripe test mode. Test checkout does not collect real payments, and displayed test credits are not cash or redeemable stored value. Test tariffs may change for future reviewed operations. Live charges require a separate enabled payment configuration and disclosed pricing before use. A real paid-service refund or cancellation policy must be disclosed before real-money launch; these test-mode terms do not create an undisclosed payment commitment.

Data and connected services

You retain rights to your content and authorize Startwave to process it to provide the requested service. Do not upload information you lack authority to process. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. Third-party services apply their own terms, permissions and availability limits. You can revoke a connection, but this does not reverse completed activity or erase required historical records.

AI assistance

AI suggestions can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review and approve any proposed reply before sending it. You remain responsible for its content and recipients. The current assistance feature does not grant autonomous authority to negotiate, make commitments or resume an opted-out conversation.

Suspension and stopping

We may restrict service to address abuse, security, provider restrictions, insufficient funding or operational risk. Pausing, stopping and archiving have different effects shown by the service. Pending or uncertain operations and historical conversations may remain after activity stops. Contact support for account closure or data requests; no immediate deletion, mailbox reuse or refund is implied by an archive action.

Availability and changes

This is a beta service on owner-operated single-host hardware, with maintenance interruptions and local-only backups. It is provided as available without a guaranteed uptime, delivery or recovery SLA, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may change the service and these terms; material pricing changes require disclosure before new paid commitments. If you do not accept future changes, stop using the service and contact support about outstanding obligations.
